Much ado for chicken tikka

Indian cuisine consists of a wide variety of regional and traditional cuisines.Tikkas are the perfect party snacks. The smoky char-grilled aroma is fabulous. Here's a simple and quick recipe to make chicken tikka, a journey from chicken to chicken tikka(:

INGREDIANTS:

250 gm boneless chicken

2 tsp hung curd

Half lemon

3/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp red chilli powder

1/4 tsp black pepper

a pinch of red food colouring

1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

1/4 garam masala

1/2 tsp tandoori chicken masala

1/2 tsp fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) 

2 tsp mustard oil

1/4 tsp cumin powder (zeera powder)

METHOD:

Marinade everything together and keep in fridge for minimum 2 hours then put into the skewers and roast, bast oil in between.

NOTE: A magic trick to give this chicken tikka the flavour of a tandoor is place the tikkas in a deep bowl heat a piece of charcoal until its nicely hot and red take a steel container put the charcoal in it and place the  steel container in the bowl drizzle some oil over the charcoal and cover the chicken with a lid for a few minutes
